I got another set of dishes last weekend to go with the other dozen or so sets I have stashed away. I thought this set of 4 placesettings was nice cause they can be mixed in with the other sets, know what I mean? The table runner and 6 napkins were from yard saleing this weekend.
This little wicker tray was free, free is good.
Not sure what to do with this yet, paint it, stick plants in it, jars? What do ya think?
Oh, these were free too! Still in the package!!! Remember these on your birthday cake back in the day? And nut cups (treat cups)? Everyone (except BFF Cindy) remembers these, she never had birthday parties when she was little, don't bring up the subject to her...if ya know what I mean!

When I saw this, I thought of Dad, big Gene Autry fan. I don't have a record player, but it'll be great for display with my vintage Christmas things.

Almost like Christmas in August. Most of the stuff I found yard saleing is for Christmas! Hey, it'll keep until then and it's always a surprise then cause I forget what I've found throughout the year.

Ok, this was the best part of the day. I saw this early in the day and passed it up. Came home, put my bathing suit on, laid by the pool, thought about where I would put it IF I had bought it, got dressed, went back to the yard sale, bought it, stuffed it into the PT, unloaded it into the garage and got out the spray paint...
Ta Daaa... It's in my bedroom now and very happy there I must say. See the stand on the top with the hats, I got that new on the weekend for $5.00! I was doing the happy dance in the store while Don looked on...
I guess that's about it for yard sales this weekend. Not too shabby for the middle of August eh?

Ooh, I love the wiry photo holder. You said it is "new", NEW or just new to you?
Do you use photoshop to get the cool backgrounds on your photo's? Each one is unique and makes you take notice. I haven't figured out any photo programs that came with Vista and I'm too cheap to pay for photoshop.
You recently changed the background too I see.
What a shame that BFF Cindy never had birthday parties...you should do something really, really special for her next big birthday - especially if it's her 50th or somethin.... to help make up for all the parties she didn't have....i'm just sayin....
