K, so I'm back for a bit. Been busy as some of you know renovating the kitchen, yeah, FOR THE LAST THREE MONTHS!!! Give me a break. And just so ya know, yeah, IT'S STILL NOT DONE!!! Yeah, just a little ticked off, but on with the blog.

I just thought the catchy sayings added a little something to the room. And also really reflected my 'personality'! HA!
The kitchen table that I love but won't be using in the new kitchen, have to find a new room for it. Sorry for the poor quality pics, this was before I got a 'real' camera.
I made the window treatments. I never bothered to completely cover the windows as we are a fair bit off the road.
This sitting area with the gas stove was nice right by the entrance, but won't be included in the new kitchen, it takes up too much usable space. Actually, the cats got more use of this area that I did.
This scale is going in the new kitchen. It belonged to Don's Mom and it's really heavy!
Made this bulletin board to match the window valances. The hydrangeas are stenciled but the words I've done freehand.
This saying may go back in the new kitchen I think!
Man, I hated those cabinets. For such a big room, I had about 3 feet of counter space to work on and hardly any storage. But not so with the new room. Stay tuned for new pics...
