Sunday's Show & Tell

K, so this is the first time I've participated in a Show & Tell on my blog. I saw it on someone else's blog and thought, hey, I got stuff to show, right?

So here goes...

I've been collecting hankies for years. They're pretty, cheap to collect, easy to find and some are so intricate.

I've got close to 200! An obsession, I know.

Not only that, but i've separated them by colour!! , and theme!!!

Did I hear you say I've got too much time on my hands?

Whatever!

Just a bunch of blue ones
I love the purple ones, don't have too many, they're harder to find.
Pastels & Flowers

Pinks, with a butterfly added in.

Don't forget men's hankies, so boring...hehe

I have a bunch of white and cream ones with gorgeous lace.

Love the ones embroidered with 'Mother'.

Some are still labeled and attached to the original packaging paper.

These are my travel hankies from different states and countries.

No I haven't travelled to all of them, but I can dream! My yellow hankies.

Reds are so classy.

I actually cut up a hankie to add to this lampshade.
Spikey is never far away when his mama has the camera out.

Just to think that someone actually took the time to dress these little pieces of fabric!

Amazing! I love the colours.

Again, he has to be in the middle of the action!

Love our Spikey.

I'm in the process of collecting the whole alphabet with monogrammed hankies and plan on putting together a tablecloth with them. I've got a hankie for each letter except I, O, Q, U, X, Y and Z. I'll probably have to fashion my own for the missing letters.

In the mean time, I'll keep hunting!

Thanx to

I was just reading over at one of the other show and tell gals blog that she has monogramed hankies to spell out Merry Christmas and hangs them from her mantle.

200 is alot and having them separated by theme?! Oh my. How wonderful that you can have so much fun!! Blessings... Polly

What a fabulous collection - love 'em all! I think sorting them by color is perfectly normal, and they really look great! Love the hankies on the little sofa especially.
